A Java Development Kit (JDK) is required in other for you to code and run a Java written program. The JDK is free for personal use and development work. You will need to agree to Oracle’s license agreement before you can download it. Follow the steps outlined below to download and install a JDK. Please note that the installation steps outlined below are for Windows Operating Systems only. This book does not cover JDK installation for MAC OS.
